In my travels around the states I find there is a loneliness that pervades our cities. So many places remind me of Edward Hopper’s paintings. His timeless work embodies the isolation of our modern world. I too wonder about the stories behind the empty chair or the window with the curtain partially open. What is this solitary world we find ourselves in?
